First Impressions & Mixing

One of my biggest concerns with creatine powders is mixability. Thankfully, Warrior Creatine is micronised, meaning it dissolves much better than many other brands I’ve used.

While some slight grittiness is inevitable, especially towards the bottom of a drink, it’s significantly smoother than non-micronised alternatives. The unflavoured version blends seamlessly with protein shakes, juice, or water, making it a versatile option for stacking with other supplements.

Taste & Flavours

I tried multiple flavours, including Blue Razz, Savage Strawberry, and Cool Cola, and overall, they’re surprisingly enjoyable.

Blue Razz is slightly sweet but not overly artificial, and it mixes well with both water and sparkling water for a fun twist.

Savage Strawberry has a nice sweetness without being too strong, making it an easy daily drink.

The standout for me was Cool Cola – it genuinely tastes like fizzy cola bottle sweets, which was a game-changer compared to the usual bland or overly synthetic supplement flavours.

That being said, Blazin’ Berry wasn’t my favourite – it was too sweet for my taste and required mixing with squash or juice to make it more palatable. But taste is subjective, and others may love the stronger flavour.

I eventually settled with the unflavoured version. As much as I enjoyed the various flavours, using unflavoured creatine powder allowed me to either mix it in with my daily protein shake, or mix it with squash. This gives me a bit more flexibility and I can mix up the squash flavours every few days.

Performance & Results

Creatine isn’t an instant fix, but after a few weeks of consistent use, I noticed definite strength and endurance improvements. My rep count increased slightly (around 3-5% more over time), and I found my muscles looking fuller. The energy boost is subtle but noticeable, especially on days when I felt more fatigued. It also helped with recovery, reducing muscle soreness after intense sessions.

Creatine supplementation (5 g/day) combined with resistance training significantly increased lean body mass and muscular strength in trained individuals, supporting its use for enhancing hypertrophy and performance.

One unexpected bonus was mental clarity and focus – something I didn’t anticipate but started noticing over time. It’s not a nootropic, but the added ATP production seems to help with alertness throughout the day.

Value for Money

At 300g per tub, with 60 servings, this is an excellent value creatine supplement. It’s affordable, high quality, and effective, making it a great option whether you’re new to creatine or a long-time user.

Warrior Creatine’s micronised formula dissolves well, with minimal grittiness, making it easy to mix.
